The Free Word Centre is located in Central London, close to Farringdon Station. Our opening hours are 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday.
Free Word Centre
60 Farringdon Road
How to get here
The Free Word Centre is located opposite 119 Farringdon Road and next to the Betsy Trotwood pub, a 5 minute walk from Farringdon Station.
The nearest tube station is Farringdon (Circle, District and Metropolitan Lines) which is a 5 minute walk from the Centre. Tube strikes are currently affecting some routes, but don't let that put you off - read our comprehensive guide to transpot options here.
Buses that stop near Free Word include the 63 on Farringdon Road, the 19, 38 and 341 on Rosebery Avenue and the 55 and 243 on Clerkenwell Road.
A "Boris Bikes" docking station is situated conveniently outside the Free Word Centre, and there's ample parking for your own bike just around the corner in Bowling Green Lane.
There is an NCP car park next to the Centre at 1 Bowling Green Lane. Free Word does not have any designated parking of its own; however there is a single yellow line on the curb outside the front entrance and so it is possible to pick up and drop off passengers directly outside.
