Kamila Shamsie hosts a panel discussion about the uncertain territories of free expression. Michael Archer, the editor of Guernica magazine, novelist and filmmaker Xiaolu Guo, and writer Mirza Waheed discuss questions of free speech and censorship in a discussion at Free Word Centre to mark the launch of a special edition of Guernica focusing on free expression. The issue was created in partnership with Free Word, in association with English PEN and ARTICLE 19, and supported by Open Society Foundations. All articles and features mentioned in the discussion are available to read online for free at Guernica's website, with further material on the Free Word blog.

This film features selected highlights from the discussion - but you can also listen to the event in full as a podcast, here.
